How to use the device: -

Tune the car radio to an FM frequency mode. Please note that the compatible frequency mode is FM and not AM mode.

Choose a blank frequency in your area. (Blank frequency refers to frequencies with no vocals or music, just rustling)

Plug the FM transmitter into the cigarette lighter or power port.

Short press the "CH" button, Adjust the FM transmitter to the same frequency as a car radio by sliding the "CH" button (left or right) when the LED displays FM frequency. The radio is successfully connected to the FM Transmitter if there is no rustling or noise. (If there is still noise, please try to find the blank channel again)

Using the Bluetooth function for the first time, you need to pair your mobile device with this FM transmitter. Activate your phone's Bluetooth function, then connect to "UBCH261". Then you can open the music player on your phone and enjoy your music.

Troubleshooting

1. How to resolve the static issue?

A. Please make sure there is no power line close to your FM transmitter location. Some of the power lines without a shielding layer would cause electromagnetic radiation to interfere and reduce the signal of FM transmission, causing background buzz.

B. Please note that the signal of FM might reduce if you are in a mountain region and massing buildings or inside a tunnel. We suggest you choose a new vacant FM frequency to pair again.

C. Adjust the car radio volume to 1/3 or 1/2, but not exceed 2/3. You can change the volume of your phone and the FM transmitter if you need.

2. How to achieve better voice quality during calls?

Ensure that your car radio successfully connects to an unused and vacant FM frequency before making a phone call. If there is still noise at the ends, you can close the car windows when you are on call.

3. How to do if the sound is too low when playing music or on a call, or there is no sound when answering a call?

Kindly adjust the volume of your phone and FM transmitter to full volume.

Press the FM transmitter's multi-function button instead of the answer button on your phone if you want to answer the phone call via the transmitter.

- I've tried and I can't get it to stop either.

- It picks up about 10ft from my work truck.

4. I lost my instructions. How do you change the radio station on the device?

- You click on the bottom button on the left side of the unit. Then change the FM station using the front button by moving the button left or right.

5. I have a slot for flash drives in my car radio. this device can be connected to a usb flash drive for audio playback or only via fm radio channel?

- Only via fm radio. That’s the only way it’ll connect to the car.

6. Does this broadcast in Stereo? The last one I bought (a different brand) only broadcast in mono.

- No, it doesn't broadcast in stereo !! Don't listen to anyone else, I speak the truth. I found out by listening to Ozzy Osbornes Crazy Train. Also if your radio doesn't say its got a stereo signal on the front display than it's in mono. It's in mono and I can't figure out how to put it in stereo. So I'm looking for a Bluetooth transmitter that will broadcast a stereo signal. Good luck finding one
